I made Christmas Candy in the Smoker on November 1, 2008. It was simple, bacon, red pepper flakes and brown sugar. Cook in the smoker until the bacon is done. Wow, that was some good stuff. I add photos next time. We ate it all too fast!

I would like to thank the organizers of the 8th Annual Brentwood Barbeque King Cookoff Contest. I had a great time and met some new friends. Brentwood Fine Meats added some fresh Bratwurst to share with everyone. That was great stuff by the way! The Brentwood Police Activities League and the East Contra Costa Historical Society were the recipients of the monies raised on Super Bowl Sunday. I plan to be back next year to be Crowned "The King of Brentwood BBQ" and have another great time. Hope to see everyone back again.
